On Monday our special guest Mentor, Pamela Wilson, was talking about ideas and how to harness their power.
On Friday, I'll be sharing some of Pamela's recipes to implement those ideas into actual products.
But, it occurs to me that between the generating of an idea (your vision) and the commitment into implementing it there lies an area that is just as vital to creativity: understanding your passion.
(yes, there I go again with those same three key words: vision, passion, commitment!)
To me, passion is the difference between a good idea and an intriguing one--or the difference between long term value and interest versus a one hit wonder. Without passion it's difficult to sustain the energy and power in any given idea to bring it to fruition.
So, who better to talk about this mysterious notion of passion, and how it bridges the gap between vision and commitment than JJ Abrams and his Ted talk about The Mystery Box:
